Allergic Rhinitis (Allergy)

WHO NEEDS ALLERGY CARE

If you experience runny

nose, nasal congestion,

itchy eyes or sneezing

you may need allergy

treatment.

You might only have

itchy eyes or frequent

skin rash.  Recall that

people with a history of

eczema may improve

with allergy care.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Most insurance companies

cover allergy treatment.

However, prior approval

may be required.  For

questions about your

coverage, you may desire

to speak with your

carrier.  Also, our nurses

may help.

Sinus Care

Many patients who have allergy problems, may also have sinus related headaches, or sinus infections.  If this describes your history please remind the center nurses.  They will know what to do to better direct your care.

Skin Care

(and Acne)

Some skin related problems are associated with allergy and hay-fever. These can be managed with thoughtful care.

If you have a problem with facial eruptions on acne please bring this to the attention to the center nurses.

Remember the Alabama Allergy ENT Center also has an Esthetician on staff to assist with your special skin problems.

Skin Cancer Care

Do you have a new or suspicious skin spot?

If so you will want Dr. Brentnall to examine you.

Remember, most biopsies take only a few minutes and can be done usually in the clinic.
